Annual Report 2012-2013

News about Field:Presently we are working in different fields mainly in Tourism and Education. And that too, 2 valuable projects in different fields.

“SAMSKARA”

The very important project more than that a needy one to the present situation. It is project with collaboration of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Education Department of Karnataka. Under this project organization provided moral education to Primary Schools children.

Objectives of the Project:

•  Identify the creativity of the children.
• Educate the child about the Indian culture, educate them about our history.
• Educate children’s through Moral stories about the moral values.
• Increase the Concentration level of the children by storytelling.
• Give a stage to Child's to showcase their Hidden talents.
• Aware parents about the present situation and, the parenting system.

The project is implemented in 57 clusters of Sirsi Shaikshanika Jilla. In total nearly 12,000 students of 319 schools are got benefited.

Process of project:

·         Selection of Resource Persons (Samskara Teachers)

·         Training for Resource Person (Samskara Teachers)

·         Pre-Evaluation

·         Starting of Story telling

·         Parents awareness

·         Visit (Inspection from Organization)

·         End Evaluation

Effect of the project:

The project is in its existence from last 4 years, but in present year we got departmental approval so within a short period of time the project got success. We are capable to develop a sense of good morale in students.

“SAMSKRUTI SINCHANA”

With the collaboration of Tourism Department of Karnataka, we are doing a project “Samskruti Sinchana”. The project is all about Sustainable Eco tourism and to develop the local tourism. In this process we support localities to get involved in the activity which will create employment, provide them a market to local crafts and for other foodstuffs. Under the same project we created awareness to college students, trained un-employed, conducted workshops and many trek and tours. And we are making a grave effort to safeguard precious art and culture.

Objectives:

Local involvement is very important aspect in all the matters, so aware the people i.e. localities about available employment opportunities, and train them.

     ·         Collect the information’s related to specialty or uniqueness of the all tourist place.

     ·         Educate the tourists about the local culture, Folk arts, Food system.

     ·         Give Exposure to many places which are far away from the world of tourism.

     ·         Educate the people about Home Stay and give training to interest.

     ·         Educate students and aware tourists about pollution control.

Effects:·         

    ·         Increased number of Home stay.

    ·         Many places got the benefit from Government.

    ·         Opinion collection about “Sustainable eco tourism”
 

“KANAJA”

It is a special program for school children, under this program we do conduct awareness related to different topics related to nature, and its related subjects. Under a wing of “Garuda trek nd tour” we are running the program and we have a view to expand this program into large scale. To conclude, being in a social sector it is important that we need to respond to happenings of surroundings. The world is running like anything but no one is there to assess what it is trailing. We have a view towards a present society for its goodness and we are happy that we are contributing towards good cause. And let us hope and get together for its development.
